Who says the sun says… Barbecue! And for everyone to agree, here’s a great recipe for marinated chicken wings, accompanied by couscous with vegetables. Yum!

This is good, Kikkoman Japanese brand and specialist in soy sauce, just shared a wonderful recipe that will satisfy everyone (and for everyone): delicious marinated chicken wings and an ultra-flavored vegetable couscous.

Recipe for Barbecue: chicken wings with pepper and couscous with vegetables

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 2 kg chicken wings
  • Salt

For pickles:

  • 1 organic lime
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 6 tablespoons Kikkoman soy sauce naturally
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Ground pepper
  • sweet paprika
  • Chili pepper powder

For vegetable couscous and spicy yogurt:

  • 200 gr couscous
  • 2 small rosemary sprigs
  • 1 eggplant
  • 1 zucchini
  • 300 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 or 4 tablespoons Kikkoman Teriyaki sauce
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Ground pepper
  • 250 gr plain yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • Chili pepper powder
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons naturally fermented Kikkoman soy sauce


  1. Cook the chicken wings in a pan of salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain and allow to cool.
  2. Make the marinade: mix lemon juice and peel, soy sauce, sesame and olive oil, minced garlic, pepper, paprika and powdered pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken wings with the marinade and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
  4. Gatuani kuskusin according to the instructions on the packaging.
  5. Wash and prepare vegetables: Cut the edges of the eggplant and zucchini and cut the meat into cubes. Peel an onion and cut it into strips.
  6. Mix Teriyaki sauce, oil and pepper. Add the eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes, onion and rosemary and stir well.
  7. Do the dive:mix the yoghurt and ketchup, and savor them with chili powder and soy sauce.
  8. Cook the chicken wings on the barbecue for 10 to 20 minutes and the vegetables for 10-15 minutes.
  9. Put couscous and vegetables on a plate, with spicy yogurt and chicken wings.
